The Blue Canoe Grill was established in November 2011. The current owner, Trish Bookbinder, takes great care to preserve the history and charm of the original building and puts her personal touch on it to give customers a special experience. Head Chef, Peter Kuzawski - former owner of The Golden Pheasant restaurant in Cazenovia - brings his 30 plus years of culinary skills to create mouthwatering dishes that will always keep you coming back for more.
The building exudes Adirondack charm and rich history dating back to the mid-1940s. Local historians will tell you that residents of the area used to have clambakes and raccoon races at the restaurant. During the winter months, many enjoy ice fishing and snowmobiling on the frozen lake.
